Customer Information
Cleaning & Replacement of Filters
- Filter Replacement: Changing air filters regularly (recommended at least every 6 months for a 4" filter and every 2 months for a 1" filter) ensures proper airflow and prevents strain on the system.
- Coil Cleaning (Elite Comfort Shield Only): Cleaning evaporator and condenser coils to remove dust, dirt, and debris, which can reduce efficiency and cause the system to work harder.
- Drain Line Cleaning: Clearing out condensation drain lines to prevent clogs and water damage.
Performance Testing
- Thermostat Calibration: Checking and adjusting the thermostat to ensure accurate temperature control.
- System Efficiency Check: Measuring the system's performance to ensure it operates at peak efficiency (e.g., checking refrigerant levels, airflow, and temperature differentials).
- Electrical Connections Check: Inspecting all electrical connections to ensure safety and reliability.
Mechanical Component Inspection
- Motor & Fan Inspection: Checking and lubricating motors and fans to prevent wear and tear.
- Belt & Pulley Inspection: Inspecting belts for signs of wear, which can lead to failures if not addressed.
- Heat Exchanger Check (For Furnaces): Inspect the heat exchanger for cracks or corrosion, which could cause dangerous carbon monoxide leaks.
Refrigerant Level Check (for AC & Heat Pump Systems)
- Refrigerant Pressure Testing: Ensuring the system has the correct refrigerant levels, as low refrigerant can reduce cooling capacity and strain the compressor.
Safety Inspections
- Pilot Light & Ignition Check (For Gas Systems): Inspecting and cleaning the ignition system to ensure it functions reliably and safely.
- Safety Control Check: Testing all safety controls, such as pressure switches, to ensure the system will shut down in unsafe conditions.
Priority Services and Perks
- Priority Scheduling: Receive priority service, especially during peak times (e.g., extreme heat or cold seasons).
- No After-Hours Fees: Waive after-hours or emergency service fees. A basic diagnosis fee will be charged.
- Discounted Parts & Repairs: Discounts on repairs, parts, or labor.
